My Favorite Stampin' Up Products

Okay, so yes, I'm a Stampin' Up demon (that's what I call myself - demon is short for demonstrator, or as my mom would say, a more accurate term to describe myself). And I do of course have favorite Stampin' Up products. So here's a list of my favorite products, and yes, I'd have to say probably in this order:
  1. Card stock
  2. Ink
  3. Markers
  4. Watercolor crayons
  5. Decorative Papers
  6. Stamps
  7. Embellishments (mostly ribbon)

I adore the fact that all of Stampin' Up's cardstock, inks, markers, watercolor crayons, and embellishments are color coordinated. To date, it is the ONLY company I have found on the market with as many colors to choose from that are all inter-related. In fact, to be completely honest, Stampin' Up is the only company I know that color coordinates anything. And as for the cardstock... I've shopped at Archiver's quite a bit, and you know what I've found that annoys me? Not all of their cardstock is the same "weight". That annoys me. Cardstock should feel like a very heavy piece of paper, or a very light piece of cardboard. It should not, under any circumstance, feel like a piece of construction paper. But please, don't mistake me... I do realize that Archiver's is not the only company guilty of this practice. Hence the reason I shake my head every time my mom shows me her latest Valu-Pak cardstock purchase from Michael's or JoAnn's. But she's learning...

I think you're probably surprised by the fact that the actual stamps from Stampin Up fall so far down on the list. Well, there's two reasons for that. Number one, as I already stated above, I adore the color coordination Stampin Up offers in its cardstock, markers, inks, etc. It feeds into my slightly OCD compulsion. But secondly, as a single 33-year-old woman, sometimes I prefer the overly girly stamps other companies have in abundance. I think Stampin' Up has some great choices, please don't think I don't, but a large amount of the girly sets I love from Stampin' Up are retired, and therefore... I can't demo them. Which is a shame because they're just so cute!

Though I'm thinking of perhaps offering a workshop revolving around my girly retired stamps... What do you think?
